This offers an excellent opportunity, from the novice to the expert, to select from the best plants available. Local, National and International vendors will be on site

Entry Fee:

  $10.00 per person


Each year the Orchid Society of Alberta celebrates the hobby of orchid growing with its annual show and sale, Orchid Fair.  After 40 years, the show has grown to become the largest of its kind in Western Canada, with over 15,000 square feet of displays and sales area.  With 15 Canadian and international vendors confirmed so far this year, you are sure to find everything from the rare to the truly unusual.

Orchid Fair 2023 will feature regularly scheduled Orchid Care Sessions, presented by experts from the OSA.

Learn the best way to care for those new plants for continued success! Sessions last approximately 20-30 minutes with an opportunity to ask questions.

Plant Registration Instructions

  1. Before filling in the registration form, please read the 41st Annual Orchid Fair Plant Entry Regulations
  2. The Rules and Regulations governing the submission of plants for exhibition are on pages 7 and 8.
  3.  It is your responsibility to enter each plant in the correct class(es).
  4. Each plant should be entered into one (1) Alliance Class only.
  5. Where a plant could conceivably fit into more than one class,the exhibitor shall enter it into the first applicable class listed.
  6. The plant classes are described in the Schedule of Classes on pages 9 to 12 of the Plant Entry Regulations.
  7. Also make sure to enter your plant(s) in any of the Special Trophy Classes on page 16 for which you think they may be eligible.
