The Orchid Society of Alberta is a non-profit, registered organization founded in 1976. Our mission is to advance the hobby of orchid growing in Alberta. Our society is an affiliated member of the Canadian Orchid Congress and the American Orchid Society.
We are hobbyists of diverse backgrounds who share an interest in growing orchids. Our members include the young and old, beginners and veterans, windowsill, under lights and greenhouse growers. We have joined together to promote the hobby and share our experiences and information.
