Membership Application

Join us!

Membership is annual:

Membership Year runs from November 1 through September 30.

A new membership may be purchased at any time, but the fee is not pro-rated.

Membership fees are:

  • Single - $25
  • Family (same address) - $30
  • Senior (65 & over) - $15
  • Senior Family - $20

Memberships are nonrefundable and are due in September of every year.

Membership Benefits

You can also try your luck at our monthly draws at the meetings on top of eating good food, making good friends, and becoming a better orchid grower!


What We Offer ...

  • Most meetings feature an interesting guest speaker or a hands-on workshop
  • Orchid culture sessions - designed specifically for people who are new to the hobby
  • A plant show table where members can display their blooming plants and have them judged and discussed
  • Door prizes and draws 
  • Plant sales by members, local vendors and guest speakers
  • Refreshments and the opportunity to meet and talk with people who share your interests
  • The Plant Doctor, an experienced member of the Society will be available to look at your sickly plants and diagnose their problems

When and Where....

The Society meets nine times per year, usually on the 4th Sunday of the month (See meeting schedule).  There are no meetings in July, August and December.  We also try to avoid having meetings on major holidays, so check the meeting schedule on this website or your monthly newsletter for dates.

Our meetings begin at 12:00 P.M. with the "Beginners Culture Session".

Plant sales start at 1 P.M. the Plant Doctor will also be available during this time.

Guests Are Always Welcome!  Please note that there is a $10.00 entry fee for guests, which is deducted from the membership fee upon joining in the same membership year.
