Open Houses

I strongly encourage you to take in the Open Houses scheduled in May and June. You will get to see real orchids in real houses and greenhouses, and get to talk directly to the growers who live there. You will see how they light, water and fertilize their orchids, and generally how the orchids are grown. There's really no better way to learn about an orchid species or hybrid, and then see how it will likely work out for you. I guarantee you’ll end up with good choices to suit the orchids in your growing conditions regardless of the weather outside.
